Aaron Carroll is a Las Vegas-based drummer, educator, and sound designer working across live performance, interactive media, and recording.
With over 22 years of full-time professional performance experience, he performs professionally under the name DEVICE, with a musical focus on groove, feel, tone, and dynamic live performance across a wide range of settings.
Alongside his drumming career, Aaron works in game audio and sound design, creating interactive sonic experiences for media projects and creative development. The crossover between rhythm, texture, and sound design continues to shape his creative approach across both disciplines.
He is also an experienced educator and clinician focused on real-world musicianship, groove development, and professional performance skills.
His recording and experimental audio work is released under the name Prime Device.
